IELTS Games and Activities : Grammar at Play is the third title in the IELTS Games and Activities series. All the activities present grammar items within a wide range of IELTS topics and contexts and provide students with the opportunity to practise these items and show off their grammatical range in the IELTS test.

The book is primarily intended for IELTS teachers and their students, but can also be used in a range of teaching situations. It does not teach grammar in a conventional form, but rather provides students with opportunities to uncover and discover form, meaning and use of exam-relevant structures.

IELTS Games and Activities : Grammar at Play aims to :

Provide students with an opportunity to use their deduction skills, contextual skills and peer support to familiarise themselves with a selection of grammatical structures

Raise both students' and teachers' awareness of the most effective grammar structures that can be integrated into a Speaking or Writing answer

The book includes a grammar formula with each activity to help students learn the structures. Students are also encouraged to create their own formula or mini checklist which they can call upon on test day.
